The MA-15D Stereo Reference monitors are ideal for computer-based recording artists seeking a high-quality, powerful set of reference monitor speakers to use in a relatively confined space. The MA-15Ds offer a wide range spectrum and crystal clear audio reproduction.The MA-15Ds feature a built-in bass enhancer that operates on psychoacoustic principles.

It converts low frequencies into a series of over-tones which the human ear cannot distinguish from the original low frequencies. Thus the listener perceives bass frequencies beneath the normal range of the speaker cone without over-driving it.

If you need more low end, the MA-15Ds offer a sub out port.The MA-15D can take input from digital sources through either a coaxial or optical S/PDIF port, and supports up to 24-bit/192kHz sources. Thus, you keep an unadulterated audio signal all the way to the power amplifier in your speakers so you hear exactly what you have recorded!

The MA-15Ds have conveniently placed front panel volume and tone controls. You can also connect 2 different sources directly into the MA-15Ds. For example, you can have both your computer and your stereo connected to the MA-15Ds.

With independent volume control for each source, this features effectively takes the place of a small desktop mixer for monitoring.You can also plug headphones directly into the MA-15D, which automatically defeats the speakers for silent mixing.The MA-15Ds are magnetically shielded for close proximity to your computer monitor.
