Now Mapex has given you even more reasons to get into an M Birch - a fantastic new burst finish, new components & new configurations.

The M Birch's exterior maple ply allows beautiful wood grain to show through the drum's eight-coat hand-rubbed lacquer finish.

Features include maple bass drum hoops with low profile claw hooks, matching birch shell snare drum, I.T.S. Tom Mounting System, 550 Series double-braced hardware, and Remo drumheads. Mapex's low mass lugs are secured to the shell via only one point of penetration. Fewer holes in the drum shell means less vibratory interruption, resulting in truer tone and unimpeded resonance.
