AKG GB40 Guitar Bug Wireless System

This is a UHF (these are the good ones that don't pick up taxis!) wireless guitar system, where the transmitter is actually built into a jack plug that just fits into your guitar - no need to wear a belt pack type transmitter. The SR40 receiver is not frequency selectable - this means it only transmits on 1 frequency, so you have to make sure that other band members don't have a wireless system on the same frequency otherwise you'll get interference problems. There are 4 frequencies available on this system - UK1, UK2, EU1 & EU2 - make sure you get the right one when you order (if you're the only person using wireless in your band, then it doesn't matter which one you buy). The AKG GB40 Guitar Bug is incredible value - about the price of 4 decent guitar leads - and once you go wireless it completely free's you up on stage. There is no noticable loss of quality when using UHF wireless systems & the GB40 works for any kind of instrument with a jack plug output (bass, electric, acoustic etc). Just keep a decent supply of battereis at hand, as each battery will only last about 3 gigs!

The SR 40 Pro receiver can be used with all WMS 40 Series transmitters (like the GB40 guitar bug that is bundled in this offer). The GB 40 guitarbug is probably the easiest way to turn a guitar, bass, or portable keyboard into a wireless instrument. The FlexJack swivel jack plug will mate with any type of output jack and is spring loaded to hold the GB 40 securely against the instrument. In addition, the GB 40 is so small it is almost invisible and wont be in your way while playing. Since the GB 40 sits right on top of the instruments output jack, the noiseless on/mute/off switch and gain control are always within easy reach.
