Behringer XENYX 1222FX Mixer
If you're looking at buying an active PA speaker system & you want a small, great value desk to go with the speakers then you really should take a look at the Behringer Xenyx 1222FX & the Xenyx 1832FX. Both these mixers have got built in FX & a built in Graphic EQ - these features are essential for a good live PA system. If you buy a mixer without these features then sooner or later you're probably going to have to buy separate FX & Graphic EQ products & that means more gear to lug about, which defeats the object of going for a portable active PA system!!
The Xenyx 1222FX has 12 channels (max 6 mics) & the 1832FX version has 14 channels (max 6 mics) plus a few extra knobs & buttons (see below for more details). Despite their feature packed specification, both mixers are really compact - ideal for solo/duo or small bands. We highly recommend these mixers for any of the Behringer, Yamaha or Mackie powered PA speakers.
