Kingsford Community School turns to Apple
September 2009
Earlier in the year MEC met with the schools IT network manager to discuss the possibility of intergrating the Apple platform into their current Windows structure.
Over the summer period we supplied and installed 14 shiny new iMacs running Logic Pro Studio, Reason 4 and Sibelius 6 each with their own MIDI controller keyboard and audio interface.
In addition we also supplied and configued an XServe - this made it easy for us to intergrate it into their existing network and give each student there own unique Apple managed home space.
If you are thinking of buying into Apple and need some advice on the best way to do this, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us in the office on 01483 456888.
Not only do a classroom full of iMacs look the business, tools like desktop remote actually make the lives of teachers easier! This is what all schools should have! Rob Voller, Senior MEC Technician.
