Music PC Suite & Recording Studio - Done.
September 2009
The Head of IT at Highcliffe School in Dorset got in touch with MEC to discuss their needs within the music and media dept, which was followed up by a MEC Consultant visiting the school.
We supplied and installed 18 custom built music PC workstations, each with a MIDI keyboard, Professional Soundcard and headphone amp allowing them up to have 4 students working at each workstation. These were delivered installed and configuered with Steinberg Cubase 5 and NI Bandstand GM sound bank, Reason 4 and Sibelius 6.
In addition to this, we supplied a professional recording studio giving them the ability to record up to 16 channels of high quality audio simultaniously straight into a custom built rackmount Prostation PC, running Cubase 5.
Microphone and headphone tie-lines were installed to 2 rooms, a classroom and live room, giving them the recording seperation and flexability they needed to bring in larger bands.
If you are thinking of a similar project or need to discuss anything at all please call Rob or Pete in the MEC office on 01483 456888.
MEC delivered the new equipment in a timely and professional manner - we are more than happy with the service. Highcliffe School
