Queen Mary's College get a taste of Apple

This summer MEC won a contract to supply and install 52 brand new shiny iMac's for Queen Mary's College.

After some discussion with the IT Management and the Education team at Andertons, it was decided that the Music department would use the 21" Apple iMac with Logic Studio 9 & Pro Tools 8 and the Media Department would use Apple's Final Cut Studio on the Apple 27" iMac - very nice!

Because of the great way that the Apple K-12 licensing works we were able to install both Apple Final Cut and Apple Logic Studio on all the machines with no additional copy protection device.

In total Media took hold of 28 x 27" iMac's and Music 24 x 21" iMac's. We arrived on-site and were able to distribute a configuered image across the entire 2 suites in one go, saving days of installation and setup time.

QMC have been a long standing customer for us and we hope to maintain the same relationship for years to come!
